“I am incredibly impressed by how smart technologies have transformed the business. I believe the cutting-edge production lines are the key to the superior quality of Yili’s products,” Vrushti Jitendra Balad, an Indian content creator, said when observing the production lines at the Yili Modern Intelligent Health Valley.
On July 13, to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), representatives from more than 11 countries and regions joined the“A Date with China, Meet Inner Mongolia” international media tour 2023 . A significant stop on the itinerary, the group explored the state-of-the-art facilities at Yili Modern Intelligent Health Valley in Hohhot, the capital of Inner Mongolia.
From farm to fork, the visitors had the opportunity to explore pastures, manufacturing bases and popular products, learning about the story behind the Asian dairy giant. Resonant with the event’s theme of “Advocate Cultural Mutual Respect & Mutual Learning, Promote Civilization Prosperity & Progress,” the tour also highlighted Yili’s success in advancing dairy technology, green production and global nutrition via international cooperation.
July witnessed the flourishing of grass and the pleasant life of dairy cows in Yili’s Chilechuan Ecological Intelligent Pasture. Apart from the pleasant environment, barns on the farm are equipped with fully automatic operating systems, which integrate cutting-edge automated milking, feeding, and manure cleaning systems, to ensure every drop of the milk is carefully monitored in a standardized and scientific manner.
Following their introduction to the Intelligent Pasture, the visitors arrived at the Yili Intelligent Manufacturing Experience Center. Containing five functional sectors: the display area, 5D cinema area, cultural experience area, catering area, and interactive research area, the Center works as an amusement park for visitors to enjoy the fun found in the dairy industry. Visitors also had the opportunity to take home Yili’s products and souvenirs from the Y-SPACE pop-up store.
The third section of the tour was the Global Intelligent Production Base of Liquid Milk, the world’s largest standalone facility of its kind. Equipped with 18 automated production lines and its world-leading facilities, including manipulators, driverless cars, high-altitude conveyor chains, and ultra-high-speed filling machines, the base is able to fill 40,000 cartons of milk per hour.
At the end of the tour, the group tasted all varieties of Yili’s products. To date, Yili’s products can be found in more than 60 countries and regions. Globally, Yili has established 15 research and innovation centers and 75 production bases. The visitors welcomed the dairy giant to expand its global market footprint to promote health and wellbeing via healthy products.
